Analyst GIS Analyst
Job Functions:
- Duties involve research, data
collection, analysis, report/grant preparation, map
generation, computer network modeling and other duties
as assigned.
- Thought partnering with consultants
and supporting the problem solving process in areas
such as location planning, territory design, consumer
demographic profiling, market sizing and segmentation,
and other geospatial analysis.
- Collaborating with colleagues to
build world-class geospatial research and analytic
capabilities by developing proprietary knowledge,
tools, and analytic methodologies.
- Sharing specialized geographic and
demographic knowledge with colleagues through
trainings, coaching and written documents.
- Managing a number of consultant
contracts and agreements with partner agencies to
ensure compliance with program requirements;
- Review of consultant deliverables
for adherence to the detailed scope of work, schedule,
and budget;
- Evaluating the consultants/programs
performance and making recommendations for improvement
- Preparation of a on-call for
projects. and evaluate project applications;
- Writing memos and making
presentations regarding the Program to various
committees and technical organizations; and,
- Assisting other employees in
carrying out related tasks.

Qualification Requirements
Technical Knowledge:
The offered position, Geographic Information Systems Analyst requires a Bachelor’s degree in Community Planning, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
Prior
knowledge of ArcGIS, AutoCad 2000
Proficiency
in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
